Available themes – how should my website look?

These themes provide both the Institutional Identity and the Light Identity. Please consult your communications team and/or University Communications to help determine the appropriate branding for your website. 

Stanford basic Drupal theme

This theme gives you program/department level identity out of the box for your Drupal 8 project.

Redwood WordPress theme

This theme offers both light (without the Stanford wordmark in the logo) and institutional identity (with the Stanford wordmark in the logo) for your WordPress site.

Light identity is enabled by default. Institutional identity must be approved by University Communications; if approved, University Communications will provide you a token to enable full branding.

School-specific branding

Please consult your school’s communication team if you are building a website as affiliated with your school, it is likely they will have their own process and procedures.
