Stanford Signature
The Stanford signature is the uniquely drawn set of typographic characters that form “Stanford University.” It serves as the foundation to which all other graphic identity elements are added. Treat the signature as artwork, not as typography. It cannot be accurately reproduced with any typeface and should not be modified in any way.
Basic Configurations
There are three basic signature configurations available for you to use: the Stanford Wordmark, the University Signature and the Stacked University Signature.
Formal Configuration
with Seal
The seal is reserved for formal uses such as academic stationery.
Spirit Configuration
with Block “S”
The Block-S with Tree is recommended for informal or spirit communications such as student communications, banners and social media.
